How do I get to the store?

The shop is easily accessible by public transport. It is situated at the southern end of King Street, midway between Newtown and St Peters Railway Stations. There are also regular bus routes down King Street via the 355 (from Bondi Junction), 370 (from Leichhardt) or 422 (from Circular Quay to Tempe) buses. Car parking is easy down this end of King Street.

What are the opening hours?

The shop is open from 11am till 6pm Monday to Saturday. We are closed on public holidays.

What is the arrangement for consigned equipment?

We sell musical instruments and related equipment on behalf of customers. You must have the proper ID. A current photo drivers license is preferred and must be recorded before any items can be accepted by the shop. All items must be screened by law. Our consignment rate is 23% including GST. It is recommended that you check with the shop by phone before you bring in any items for sale.

Can I sell my equipment to the store?

We do buy musical instruments and related equipment from customers. Again, proper ID is required. A current photo drivers license is preferred. Please ring and check the saleability of your item before bringing it to the shop.

Can I get repairs done at the shop?

The shop does handle repairs to guitars and amplifiers. We also repair some related electronic equipment. Please ring first to inquire about booking in any repairs. There is a $60- deposit on all repairs accepted by the shop. These repairs are carried out by professional technicians.

How can I buy equipment if I don't live in Sydney?

The sale of items to customers outside Sydney can be arranged by phone. Payment options vary according to customer requirements. Freight and insurance can be organised. The purchaser is to pay these costs as agreed at the time of sale.

Is there a warranty on secondhand equipment?

There is no written warranty on secondhand equipment. However, we do test and thoroughly check all items before they are sold. If a customer does experience a problem upon purchasing an item, we will of course try to rectify it. All instruments and equipment are sold in good faith.

Does the store only sell secondhand gear?

We do sell both new and secondhand musical instruments and equipment. Over the years, the price of new electronic equipment has become more affordable. This has allowed us to offer our customers more choice in these products. We are now able to supply the best of digital and analog technology, both new and secondhand, at reasonable prices.
